The Mist Trail

Our first major hike of the trip was Yosemite’s Mist Trail. The following images and video were all taken from a GoPro camera mounted on my forehead with a head-strap and used a WiFi remote attached to my pack to trigger the camera. Hands down the best point and shoot set up. Along with the forehead cam, I’m rocking a chipped front tooth. Most likely, I was the goofiest looking kid on the mountain.

After working our way up the stair-master on crack, we were rewarded with this lovely rainbow at Vernal Falls.

The first look at Nevada Falls, the end of our hike was at the top of the falls.

ImageFinally reached the summit, shame the camera ran out of battery shortly after this picture was taken so I wasn’t able to capture the top of Nevada Falls. Albeit, the view was breathtakingly beautiful. And the feeling of accomplishment reaching the top was oh so worth it.

(video to come once youtube decides to work)
